Strachan Trail follows the Florence Lake shoreline to a boat launch and swimming dock. On the north shore there is parking with an accessible viewing deck.
Lake access is easy along the northeast arm of the Strachan Trail. Off Springboard Place, the Trail runs through lush vegetation full of song birds and small animals and provides a panoramic view of Florence Lake. Shielded from roadways by natural barriers, Strachan Trail is a pure hiking experience great for exercise at any time of the day.
